Kingston SE Golf Club est 1903

Kingston Golf Course is a professionally designed fully watered 18 hole layout set amongst undulating coastal sandy rises with beautiful tree lined fairways. The 6057m course (5227 for ladies ) is extremely well maintained and features many grassy hollows and mounds that add difficulty to the course, particularly those bordering the couch fairways and superb bent grass greens.

Numerous ‘dog leg’ holes entice the more adventurous golfer to seek the reward of ‘short cutting’ (the hole) by taking on the challenge of the trees on the corners. The Par 5, 18th hole features a large gum tree in the middle of the fairway, the golfer faces the decision of which side of the tree to play their second shot. The course is easily walked by the older player.

Located 4 kms South of Kingston on the Southern Ports Highway, the course is open for play at all times by payment of green fees through an honesty box system.

Kingston is a base for a large cray fishing fleet and locally caught fresh crayfish are available in season from October to May. The Kingston area is also well known for its wine growing with three cellar doors in the area. The township has safe beaches, fishing and excellent windsurfing/sailing conditions. The Cape Jaffa Lighthouse, ‘Larry the Lobster’, Butchers Gap Conservation Park, The Coorong, The Granites and one of the few analemmatic sundials in the world are amongst the attractions in or close to the town.
